Philippines is an archipelago country located in Southeast Asia with Manila as its capital city. The Philippine archipelago comprises 7,107 islands in the western Pacific Ocean. Philippines have a lots of tourist spots in the Philippines, beaches that will really amaze people and rich in natural resources that can only be found in the country.
Pangasinan is one of the province in the Philippines, 250 kilometers north on Manila. It’s name was derived from asin (salt) due to its salt making industry, more popularly known for its bangus and the Hundred Islands National Park.
The Hundred Islands National Park is the top tourist destination in Lingayen Gulf in the province of Pangasinan in northern Philippines. This national park is one of the wonders of nature. With its 124 islands at low tide and 123 at high tide. They are believed to be about two million years old. It is a wonderful place for seeing nature, for boating, and for diving. It is also a top bird watching site.
A trip to Hundred Islands National Park and its home, Alaminos City, is really a great diversion from the hustle and bustle of the busy, urban life. Last summer, I’ve been given a chance to have one week vacation at Pangasinan, where my grandfather and other relatives on mother side live. We also have a business there located at Palamis, Alaminos, Pangasinan, it is almost on the town there, where my family and I stayed for a week. One afternoon, we decided to have an island hopping at Hundred Islands. My last time that when I go there is when I’m only grade four, so it feels like I already forgot some places there. The smell of the breeze of the sea makes me feel more excited to go on the boat and have some fun already on the sea water. I’m not brave when I’m riding on any sea vehicle but the breathtaking places that I will see makes me brave enough to experience new adventures in my life.
“That was great! Awesome!” lines that I usually release on my mouth when I’m discovering every Islands we saw. White sand, islands with different shapes, virgin undeveloped beaches, and many different fishes that are free to swim on clear not polluted water. How beautiful tourist spots Philippines had. Some Islands are already developed like Quezon Island, The Governor Island and Childrens Island. I’m also amaze when where already far on the boat station that I feel its almost near the center of the sea that when I look on the water it’s not deep and I can see the sand and little fishes swimming. “Oh! How it happen that the water is so low, as what I expect that the farther you are on the island the deeper it is.” Our boat driver or our tourist guide as well first brought us on the PBB house there on one island were we also experience hiking to saw the bird eye view of the entire Hundred Island, were all tired hiking there but the surprise in the top removed our catchingof breath because of what we saw that we really can’t forgot, It was really good-looking spot. We got to see unique islands too, including Bat Island, where it is fully loaded of fruit bats, and as usual the smell near that island is not so good but it was nice to experience, “LOL”, but take note catching them are strictly prohibited. And also, the Cathedral Island, with its large cave, and as I remember it was called Cathedral Island because of the light that passing on the top forming colliding light on the center of the cave. During our boat tour around the Hundred Islands, a lots of ideas and questions comes on my mind especially about the several caves in Pangasinan waiting to be explored. Hundred Islands is a great destination especially for those who love water and the beach. As what I heard from the boat driver and my father talking about, there was a plan that it will be developed more by the municipality of Alaminos, and they are planning to put zipline on every islands for the tourist to experience transferring to the other islands using it. It was a great idea but when I saw the interval of other islands to another I feel scared how would it be made, but I’m still looking forward to it and how I wish it was really safe to use if it is made already, and I hope so it will, cause on the other side of my mind I want to try it.That experience is so great, that I feel when I always remember it, I want to go back their again.
Lahat tayo may kanya kanyang personality and abilities, walang tao na hindi talented, meron lang talagang extra talented, pero lahat tayo may talent, yung iba sinasabing wala kasi siguro hindi pa din nila nakikilala sarili nila or maybe they are afraid to develop it. Bakit ba tayo matatakot? Basta wag kang susuko, "You have to sacrice to feel the victory".
I want to share this commercial, this is one of the best pantene commercial i've ever watched. Wanna know why? Watch this :)
-Thai TV commercial. Storied about a deaf and mute girl who learns to play the violin against all odds. The deaf girl play Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major song. This TV commercial for Pantene Chrysalis shampoo is very inspiring. The spot won a silver world medal for short film at the New York Festival (NYF) in February 2009.
-Now, i hope you know why i love this commercial. It is so inspiring. A touching commercial! Follow you heart, kung yun ang makakapagpasaya sayo why not diba? bakit hindi mo subukan? wag kang matakot, just close your eyes and you will see. Hindi mo kaylangan maging katulad ng iba, your persoality makes you "YOU.

*SANGLAAN:Directed by: Milo Sogueco
Sanglaan looks at seemingly simple relationships and uncomplicated events happening in a very mundane institution. A religious and single-minded businesswoman with a losing proposition, afraid of old age. A timid, vulnerable girl hopelessly in love with a high school crush. A security guard whose wife has a fragile heart. A charming and mysterious seaman just passing through. And a loan shark who won’t take “no” for an answer. These are some of the characters that populate the milieu of Sanglaan, a light, funny, poignant and very Pinoy story about hope and redemption.
Astig (Mga Batang Kalye): directed by GB SAMPEDRO
ASTIG is an episodic tale of four young men whose stories parallel and contrast with the landmarks and various images of Manila. It tells the story of Ariel, a conman who has to leave his girlfriend upon learning that she is in love with him; Boy, an expectant young father who has to sell his body to pay his wife’s hospital bill; Ronald, a Chinese mestizo who is coming to grips with his identity; and Baste, an overly protective son of an OFW who has to avenge his sister. The film tells the stories of the tough guys of Manila and their resolve to survive the dirt and filth of the “Distinguished and Ever Loyal City.”

ANG SAYAW NG DALAWANG KALIWANG PAA by Alemberg Ang and Alvin Yapan
Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa explores the intersection and divergence between feminist and gay concerns in the third world context, as it features the poetry of Merlinda Bobis, Ruth Elynia Mabanglo, Joi Barrios, Rebecca Anonuevo, Benilda Santos and Ophelia Dimalanta.
-actually I am so confused about the movie is. I keep on asking why the title is ''Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa'', what it is all about, what's the concept of this film. As I'm watching the movie I thought it was just a normal love story that a student fall in love on his teacher which is older than him. I saw and feel the effort of Marlon to his professor in literature. The film start with a literature poem which is read by ms. . It makes me feel bored and felt sleep for a few minutes at the middle of the film because even I'm so eager to find out the answers on my question i can't understand the flow of the story at first. The movie use cultural songs that makes me laugh sometimes that erase my sleepy mood, somehow it helps me. I appreciate the film and also understand it at last specially when I saw a tear from Dennis at the end.Thumbs for the literature poem translated to a song!

"Busong" akala ko ito yung tawag sa pag hindi naubos yung pagkaen, ganito ko inexplain sa mga kasama ko ibig sabihin ng word na yan, pinagtatalunan kasi namin that time kung bakit "busong",..haha..habang pinapanood namin mali pala ako. Hindi ko din maintindihan nung una kung ano ba talaga ibig sabihin. This film is very nice it shows different story. Breathtaking yung ibang scenes for me. Ang ganda din ng video lalo na sa mga angles na pinapakita nila, it seems like mysterious film and very cultural. It also shows some traditional things that the older people do and people beliefs. I feel so amaze for those places I've seen in this movie! I extremely appreciate this film it's so amazing.
LIGO NA U LAPIT NA ME by Noel Ferrer, Jerry Gracio and Erick Salud
Karl Vladimir Lennon J. Villalobos, aka Intoy, is secretly in love with his friend Jenny, the most beautiful girl in the campus. Jenny is rich and quirky; Intoy is street-smart and ordinary. But this friendship is not simple, since Jenny has bestowed on Intoy some perks and privileges, including going to bed with her on the condition that they will not fall in love with each other.
This film was awesome! I like the strategy they use, yung lead actor na lalaki din ang voice over. Kwento na parang totoong buhay, medyo bitin ako sa film na to, pagkatapos kasi I still keep thinking if what happened to Jenny! haha. nakaka-carried away lang.
"How great Filipino directors we have! Ang artistic ng mind nila and I extremely appreciate their films!"
----->see you next time! CINEMALAYA 8! I cant wait for you!
Girls, sometimes in your life, do you ever think that you would become one of the famous girl in your campus? Here are some of my tips. It takes time but i'm pretty sure that someday you gonna walk inside your campus with their eyes on you. You'll be the girl who loves by everyone!
"Make a GOOD impression"
-first impression maybe the last, make sure you'll do a positive way so everyone can remember you as a nice person.
"Be NICE"
-try to say hi or hello even to those people you dont see everyday like your schoolmates, because when you do that I'm sure the next time they saw you they will not be ashame to greet you.
"Wear your SMILE"
-you didn't know it could be the reason for others to smile.
"Observe Proper Hygiene"
-yes, it is important! because when you dont have that and have a bad smell people will get easily turned off to you, and i'm sure you dont like it!
"Listen Carefully and Speak Clearly"
-when you listen to them they will feel your giving also attention to them not only focusing on yourself and when it's your turn to speak, talk loudly and clearly but do not shout! Be gentle!
"Be Confident!"
-walk with confidence, make WOW impression to others. Have your own sense on clothes, become outgoing instead of being shy. But dont change yourself something big like your morals just to be famous. Stop thinking that you're not cool enough like them and your ugly, this cant help you! No one is ugly because God makes no mistake, think of your own qualities for a while. believe in yourself!
"Avoid telling lies for people to trust you"
"Try to stay in your style"
"Relate to people at their own level"
-means talk about what the others are interested.
"Dont be SHY!"
-this cant help you to win any new friends.
"Involved yourself to any activity you actually like"
"Know what is going around you"
"Do well in school"
"Reading"
-Girls magazine can help you a lot also, you can know whats IN and what's NOT.
"Be who you really are! Dont push yourself into something your not!"
